2027 Fundraiser

A Vision for the Future

Funding as-built drawings and architectural plans for enhanced accessibility, bathroom renovations, and other facility updates.

For more than a century, members of the Claremont Club have preserved the clubhouse at 214 Hillcrest Road with countless volunteer hours and donations. Member support has covered large capital expenditures, like seismic work in the late 90s and a new roof installed in 2025; however, the club lacks the resources necessary to fund the updates required for a century-old structure. To support its next 100 years of use, the clubhouse needs greater accessibility, updates to its bathrooms, and architecturally sensitive modifications that improve it. Such projects are large in scope, and will take hundreds of thousands of dollars to complete.

To better envision and plan out these exciting projects, the first step is commissioning a set of architecturally accurate as-built drawings, which have an estimated cost of $20,000. As-builts will allow us to partner with architects to generate plans to restore and improve the usefulness of the Claremont Club’s clubhouse for its members and the community. Note, all projects are subject for review, approval, and will be coordinated with the Claremont Club.

The 214 Hillcrest Conservancy’s first fundraising effort, A Vision for the Future, will cover these costs, and create a blueprint for future preservation and enhancement efforts by the non-profit.
